In sociology weve been discussing values. Values the morals and standards by which we live. I recently stated that one of my values is faith. However upon further thought I realized that I wasent quit sure I knew what faith was. I attended wednesday night youth group at church and the sermon was about faith. Faith in God. The definition of faith in the bible is one that opened my eyes to what faith truly is. The definition is “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1 NASB
This definition to me in other words is believing something so powerful without having to ever see it, touch it, or smell it. When this definition was read aloud i began to question my faith. Did I so fully and truthfully believe. I went through all the doubts that have ever crossed my mind and realized that even so I had doubts I never strayed away from God. Therfore my faith must be good. Right? I think no ones faith is perfect and just like any other values in society it is something than can always benefit from being improved just the same as equality or respect.

  2. I agree with you when you say no one's faith is perfect. Everyone is a sinner, and therefore will not be a good believer in Christ as a result. But I have been thinking about this same thing, and have also realized that all the doubts that run through my head are the devil trying to trick me. God is always there for us. Your faith is amazing!!
